Housing Company Sales & Marketing Director
Community home builder seeking a competent Sales and Marketing Manager to be in charge of the organization’s home building sales and marketing department. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s home development sales and marketing operations and branding through multiple resources. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for real estate, able to apply expertise of team and department management, sales/marketing planning, contracting/research, product launch, public relations, and promotional techniques. Candidate will be a skilled sales and marketing strategist and able to develop strategic sales objectives. The goal is to increase the company’s sales and market share and maximize revenues in order to thrive against competitors.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s home building and development business activities
- Manage daily operations of sales teams, appraisal management, sales negotiations, contract/escrow provisions, pricing management, DRE compliance, and sales agent personnel and sales center management.
- Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently and cost effectively, including model home grand openings and other.
- Plan and execute campaigns for company sales promotions, launching of new product lines etc, including development and execution of all marketing content: brochures, photo, video, digital, newsletters, blog, website, tv, radio, billboards, digital ads, model home coordination, and social media resources.
- Monitor progress and submit performance daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reports to principles
- Responsible for producing valuable content for the company’s online presence, editorial design and organizing the company's marketing content
- Conduct general real estate and market research to keep abreast of industry trends and sales competitor’s market movements
- Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects
- Become the organization’s agent towards external parties such as multi-media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships
- Spearhead management of all aspects of the company's website, website content management systems, and other website design activities
Skills
- 5-10+ years Proven experience as Sales and Marketing Manager
- Experience with Buildtopia sales program
- E-document and E-lead coordination
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and creative thinking
- Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
- Thorough knowledge of Sales programs, Microsoft Office/Windows, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, and Web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Data/Docs, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
- Customer service oriented approach with aptitude
- Professional chartered marketer (CIM) a plus
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales, marketing, journalism, public relations, or communications or relevant field
- California Licensed Real Estate Agent a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year depending on experience
