Compliance Analyst/Maintenance Manager/Maintenance Worker II/Eligibility Specialist I
The Housing Authority of the County of Merced is currently recruiting for the below-listed positions.
- Compliance Analyst - Under the general direction of the Executive Director, performs a variety of professional management activities related to implementing, administering, coordinating and overseeing multiple housing programs.
- Maintenance Manager - Under the direction of the Executive Director assists in planning and supervising of the maintenance department, pertaining to all grounds, buildings and equipment owned by the Housing Authority, as well as supervision and scheduling of assigned staff. Performs other administrative duties as required.
- Maintenance Worker II - Perform a wide variety of unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled maintenance and repair to interiors and exteriors of public housing residential units and other Housing Authority owned, leased or managed buildings, grounds, facilities, and equipment, as assigned. Assists in the evaluation of maintenance needs for the assigned buildings, grounds, facilities and equipment and assists in the planning for and scheduling of preventative maintenance
- Eligibility Specialist I - An entry level position, performing eligibility tasks associated with Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) participants. Finalizes eligibility work-up and prepares the necessary verification, forms and computations to allow continued participation in the program. Prepares correspondence to clients and owners/agents and insures completeness of client and owner information, as well as client files. When skill is attained, negotiates renewal rents with owners. Prepares rent reasonableness reports as required. Performs clerical duties in conjunction with designated duties.
