Maintenance Worker/Ditch Tender
This position will report to both the Superintendent and Water Operations Supervisor. The maintenance duties include a variety of construction tasks associated with the installation, repair and maintenance of irrigation canals, drains, ditches, pipelines, crossings and other related facilities, and operation of light construction equipment and vehicles. The Ditchtender duties include scheduling and distribution of irrigation water to customers, and proper operation of the conveyance and distribution facilities. This is an entry level position with close supervision, performing assigned duties with detailed instruction.
