Job Description
The RN utilizes the nursing process to provide physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual dimensions of care to patients and their families, including educational and discharge needs. With an average length of stay of 25-30 days, the RN is able to develop strong relationships with their patients and play a critical role in their recovery. RNs at Gaylord Hospital have a voice in their practice and have a strong Shared Governance model in place.
Job Requirements
- ASN required
- BSN or Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field preferred
- Current CT RN license required
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
Work Schedule
- Full-time, part-time and per diem opportunities
- 8 or 12 hour day, evening and night positions available

Milne 1 & Milne 2: Step down/progressive care unit of level of care includes:
- Continuous telemetry monitoring
- Ventilator support and weaning
- LVAD patient population

Lyman 1 & Hooker 1: Medical units offer care for patients with: • Stroke
- Complex wounds
- Telemetry

Lyman 2 & Hooker 2: Specialty units are CARF Accredited with a focused patient populations:
