Shipping Receiving

Summary

Planning, scheduling, and management of daily work activities within the warehouse & Assembly to expedite workflow, including receiving, picking, restocking, and inventory control. The Shipping and Receiving associate professionally represents ARCH Medical Solutions- Sonora while making pickups and deliveries to customers and suppliers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Produces and meets delivery schedule
• Determines workforce to get shipment packaged
• Effectively communicates with Production Management by addressing what shipments cannot be filled (looking 3-days ahead)
• Processes parts to Finished Goods.
• Evaluates Shipping and Receiving needs and generates a driver “stop” list accordingly.
• Executes the daily needs for Shipping, including packaging and pulling from inventory.
• Participates in routine inventory audits.
• All counting activities performed to the highest level of accuracy.
• May be required to drive, as needed, to deliver and pick up parts from customers and suppliers.
• Assists in Debur, Assembly, and/or Receiving as directed by PMs
• Adhere to and enforce health and safety laws and policies established by the company.
• Keep an organized and clean workspace.
• Maintains professional appearance and conduct as a representative of AMS Sonora.
• Safely and efficiently loads/unloads shipments while transporting to required destination.
• Maintains maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicle.

Education and/or Experience

• Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

• Microsoft Office knowledge
